Kiribati Ship Registry, under the Marine Division of Ministry of Information, Communication, Transport and Tourism Development (MICTTD) of Kiribati, has the exclusive authority to register vessels under the Kiribati Flag and issue all the necessary certificates on behalf of the Kiribati Government.
